The MINI has only been validated on paper. E-versions require separate validation. To my knowledge the MINI has only been validated in its original paper format. This matters because regulatory authorities like the Food and Drug Administration (FDA ) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA) require CDS tools to be separately and independently validated in each medium in which they are used to ensure their accuracy, reliability, and safety.
