The Suicidal Impulse Attack Scale (SIAS) is a very brief assessment of the components of a suicidal impulse attack. The SIAS may be helpful in measuring a suicidal patient’s response to acute treatment. It can also be used to track response to rapid onset of action anti-suicidality treatments. It is designed for use in clinical research studies and in clinical settings.
